After low-scoring totals in their previous three  contest, Rochester brought some dynamite into their most recent  game. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Olympia Spartans  an   11-0 shutout  on Monday. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by eight  runs or more this season.
The result came thanks to  Sean Plessa's shutout, as he gave up just five  hits and racked up seven Ks.
 On the hitting side, Rochester got a  massive  performance out of  Jorey Myren, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run and three  RBI.  Reece Gade was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs and two  doubles.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rochester  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  hit total in three consecutive  contests.
With the  victory, Rochester broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-7. As for Olympia,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-14.
 Looking ahead, Rochester will be playing at home against MacArthur  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Rockets are facing the Generals at the right time seeing as the Generals are stuck on  a  12-game losing streak. As for Olympia, they will take on Athens at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
