Basketball Game Preview: Corn Bible Academy Crusaders vs. Geary Bison

The Corn Bible Academy Crusaders are taking a road trip to challenge the Geary Bison at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Corn Bible Academy's defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so Geary's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Corn Bible Academy is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Canute just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Monday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 1-0 to the Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Trojans are ranked 31st).

Meanwhile, Geary came up short against Union City on Tuesday, falling 65-45. The loss continues a trend for the Bison in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Geary's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Corn Bible Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Corn Bible Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Geary when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 54-49 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Corn Bible Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
