Football Recap: Glen Ridge Comes Up Short Despite Zach Konetzni's Big Defensive Game

Glen Ridge was the 17-6 winner over Hoboken when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ridgers took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redwings on Friday. The Ridgers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glen Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Zach Konetzni picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Glen Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hoboken, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
