Volleyball Recap: North Eugene Comes Up Short

North Eugene was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Thurston Colts. If the Highlanders were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Colts when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Eugene's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Thurston, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

While North Eugene had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
