Basketball Recap: Intermountain Christian Lions vs. Draper APA Eagles
After flying high against Merit Preparatory Academy last Wednesday, Intermountain Christian came back down to earth. The Intermountain Christian Lions were dealt an 81-32 defeat at the hands of the Draper APA Eagles on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.
Aaliyah Baldwin was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 27 points and nine assists for Draper APA. Baldwin's evening made it 22 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Vanessa Moctezuma, who went 7 of 15 en route to 17 points and seven assists.
Intermountain Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Draper APA, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4.
