Basketball Recap: West Campus Takes a Loss

West Campus kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. The contest between the Warriors and the Woodcreek Timberwolves didn't end well, with the Warriors falling 67-48.

Max VanLaningham had a dynamite game For Woodcreek., dropping a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. VanLaningham is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last ten games he's played dating back to last season. Tristian Lattimore was another key player, shooting 83% from the field on his way to 10 points and eight boards.

Looking ahead, West Campus is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Oakmont at 7:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Woodcreek, they will welcome Granite Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
