Baseball Game Preview: Bowler Panthers vs. Tigerton Tigers

The Bowler Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Tigerton Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bowler lost 12-1 to Marion on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Bowler saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Treyvon Granquist, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Tigerton couldn't beat Port Edwards on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Tigers came up short against the Blackhawks, falling 15-4. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Bowler's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Tigerton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Bowler might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Tigerton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
