Soccer Game Preview: St. Paul Lutheran vs. Chillicothe

The St. Paul Lutheran Saints will head out to square off against the Chillicothe Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chillicothe took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Paul Lutheran, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, St. Paul Lutheran turned things around against Lutheran on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 5-3. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for St. Paul Lutheran considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Chillicothe's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against Bishop LeBlond, falling 5-2.

Chillicothe's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for St. Paul Lutheran, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

St. Paul Lutheran couldn't quite get it done against Chillicothe in their previous meeting back in April of 2016 as they fell 2-0. Can the Saints avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
