Football Recap: J.H. Rose Falls to Northern Nash in First Game of Season + How To Watch

J.H. Rose had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 26-20 to the Northern Nash Knights. The Rampants were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

J.H. Rose's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Davis, who threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes. Daran Bell also helped out with an impressive 80 receiving yards.

Leading Northern Nash to victory were Myles Eatmon and Hylan Wheeler. Eatmon rushed for 85 yards and one score, while Wheeler threw for 92 yards and a pair of TDs.

J.H. Rose has already played their next match, a 38-14 victory against Washington on the 28th. As for Northern Nash, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-7 win against Nash Central on the 28th.
