Soccer Recap: Surry Central's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

Friday just wasn't the day for Surry Central's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Surry Greyhounds on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Surry this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in April.

With the loss, Surry Central broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-12. As for North Surry, they pushed their record up to 9-5-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As for North Surry, they will head out to challenge North Wilkes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Surry are facing North Wilkes at the right time seeing as North Wilkes are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
