After a string of four wins, Norwell's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Saints when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Norwell ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Vanessa Rosswurm and Macie Saalfrank, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Emma Vachon and her 22 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Norwell's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Norwell has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Northfield on the 10th. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Carroll on the 10th.
