Sandia extended their home winning streak to 20 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Sydney Benally. The Sandia Matadors really took it to the Santa Fe Demons for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-27 victory thanks to Benally, who went 8-for-10 en route to 19 points and three steals. The game was her seventh in a row with at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Hope Giddings, who posted 11 points and five boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games she's played.

Sandia's win bumped their record up to 25-1. As for Santa Fe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-14.

As of now, neither Sandia nor Santa Fe have any future games scheduled.
