Recap: Noxapater vs. Biggersville
On Thursday, Noxapater's offense rose to the challenge against a Biggersville defense that boasted an average of only 11.45 points allowed. They blew past Biggersville 49-26. The win was familiar territory for Noxapater, who now has seven in a row.
That final score didn't come about without some excitement. Noxapater's senior Raheem Hathorn penetrated the defense for a 60-yard TD rush in the first quarter. In another great play for the squad, sophomore KD Carter swiped an interception and returned it zero yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
The Tigers will go up against Nanih Waiya in continuing playoff action next week. Nanih Waiya has averaged 27.86 points over the course of their past seven games, so Noxapater might be in for a challenge. Biggersville's playoff loss brings an end to their season.
