Softball Recap: Hillsboro Comes Up Short

Hillsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Inman Inman Teutons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Inman Teutons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 on Tuesday.

Hillsboro saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khloe Funk, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Hillsboro's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Inman, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0-2.

Looking ahead, Hillsboro is taking a road trip to take on Nickerson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Inman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
