Volleyball Recap: West Union Comes Up Short

West Union lost against Northwest back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dragons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mohawks.

Shelbi Weakley paced West Union's offense, picking up eight kills. Weakley got some help from Annabelle McIntosh and her 18 assists. Violet Randolph controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

West Union's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Northwest, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5 record.

West Union has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Fairfield on the 11th. As for Northwest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Western on the 9th.
