            Volleyball Recap: Wiggins Tigers vs. Holyoke Dragons        
        
		
        
        
            
While Wiggins's  victory against Holyoke wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers won by a  set and slipped past the Dragons  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Tigers have posted  since November 14, 2024.
 Wiggins wouldn't go down easily and took Holyoke into a fifth set  where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 23-25, 20-25,  15-9.
 Karsyn Kerr paced Wiggins' offense, picking up 12 kills. Kerr got some help from  Kallie Green and her 25 assists.  Saria Hawkins controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The  victory was  the third in a row for Wiggins, bringing their record up to 15-7. As for Holyoke,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 18-4.
 Wiggins and Holyoke should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Tigers will  face off against  Wray  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday with a big rank  advantage  (45 vs. 168). Meanwhile,  Holyoke (ranked 31st) will meet Burlington (ranked 99th)  at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday.
