Basketball Game Preview: Carmel Greyhounds vs. Fishers Tigers

The Carmel Greyhounds will square off against the Fishers Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Carmel beats Fishers with 59 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Carmel came out on top against Columbus North by a score of 59-50 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greyhounds.

Meanwhile, Fishers earned a 51-41 victory over Hersey two weeks ago.

Carmel better keep an eye on Nevaeh Dickman. She was instrumental in Fishers' win, going 7 of 10 en route to 20 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Scheu, who posted eight points.

Carmel now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Fishers, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Things could have been worse for Carmel, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 52-38 loss to Fishers in their previous meeting back in January of 2024.
