Basketball Recap: Everton Comes Up Short

Everton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They had to suffer through an 85-46 loss at the hands of Lockwood. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lockwood this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-30 back in January.

Everton's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zayn Powers, who on his way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Wylie Vigesaa, who posted eight points.

Everton's loss dropped their record down to 1-24. As for Lockwood, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10.

As of now, neither Everton nor Lockwood have any future games scheduled.
