Volleyball Recap: Browning Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Browning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings & Valkyries from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Browning took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-9, 25-11.

Among those leading the charge was Cassy Schlicht, who had six aces and five digs. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Browning's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Bigfork, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Browning is set to square off against their familiar foe Columbia Falls at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bigfork will face off against rival Polson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
