Volleyball Recap: Selma Comes Up Short

Selma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Immanuel Eagles. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-14.

Selma's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Immanuel, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

Selma has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Fresno Christian on the 8th. As for Immanuel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Reedley on the 8th.
