Softball Recap: Nettleton Comes Up Short

Nettleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 14-3 to the Kennett Indians.

Mekenzie Racy made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-2. Those home runs marked the first that she launched this season.

Nettleton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Kennett, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nettleton will square off against Valley View at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kennett, they will be playing at home against Thayer at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
