As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with less than two walks. For the season, he has an ERA of 6.00 over 4.7 innings pitched.

Jones' effort led Stewarts Creek over LaVergne and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Hawks are a perfect 10-0 against the Wolverines going back to March of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
