Millard South had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mesquite Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Madi Jacobson paced Millard South's offense, picking up eight kills. Jacobson got some help from Bailey Wyzenski and her 19 assists. Wyzenski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Millard South's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Mesquite, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-4.

Millard South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Desert Ridge on the 27th. As for Mesquite, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against DuPont Manual on the 27th.
