Sutter extended their postseason success on Saturday against Calaveras. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Calaveras Red Hawks a 7-0 shutout. Sutter's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Olivia Bauer made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Bauer has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive pitching appearances. Bauer was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.
