Softball Recap: Filer Takes a Loss

Filer fell victim to Rocky Mountain and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Filer saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Filer is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. As for Rocky Mountain, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Filer will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mountain Home at 4:00 p.m. on April 1. As for Rocky Mountain, they will face off against Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
