Basketball Recap: Plevna Sets Scoring Season-High Against Powder River County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plevna). Everything went their way against the Powder River County Hawks on Friday as the Plevna Cougars made off with a 66-40 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Cougars with their most commanding win of the season.

Plevna's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5. As for Powder River County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Plevna will head out to square off against Terry at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Terry will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Plevna surely won't give up without a fight. Powder River County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
