Tyler Hannon Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Paoli got the W thanks in part to Tyler Hannon playing the best football he has all season. Hannon rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns.
The victory for Paoli keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Hannon's next game is against Eastern on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Hamilton Came Up Big in Springs Valley's 49-0 Win
Christian Hamilton was instrumental in extending Springs Valley's winning streak to six on Friday. Hamilton turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 166 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.
Unfortunately for North Daviess, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Hamilton. Hamilton rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only six carries the last time he and the Cougars duked it out back in October of 2023.

James Walls and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Springs Valley picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to James Walls. North Daviess had no answer to Walls as he picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown. Walls didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made three total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
This season, Walls has caught 8 touchdowns while averaging 63.4 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two receiving touchdowns.

Paoli picked up their ninth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Fletcher Cole. Cole did his part (and then some), rushing for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries for the 'W'.
For the season, Cole has averaged 38.6 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 49.11 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 95 rushing yards.

Springs Valley Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Blake Buchanan
Blake Buchanan's big game helped extend Springs Valley's winning streak to six on Friday. Buchanan rushed for 19 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 91 yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.
On the year, Buchanan has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 77.4 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after nine games last season, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to six.
