Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wiregrass Ranch). They blew past the Sunlake Seahawks 46-7 on Friday. Given the Bulls' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Seahawks are ranked 420th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Daniel Terry continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 189 yards on only 17 passes, while also punching in one rushing score. Wiregrass Ranch also got help from Donteis Austin, who showed off his sure hands for 80 receiving yards.

Wiregrass Ranch was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 203 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 61 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five contests they've averaged 151.3.

The victory made it two in a row for Wiregrass Ranch and bumps their season record up to 2-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 26 points in those games. As for Sunlake, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Wiregrass Ranch will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mitchell at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Terry and Cayden Thomas. As for Sunlake, they have already played their next matchup, a 28-25 defeat against Gulf on the 3rd.
