Basketball Recap: Southwood Comes Up Short

Southwood was the 39-26 winner over Evangel Christian Academy when they last played one another back in November, but their luck changed this time around. The Southwood Cowboys fell 55-47 to the Evangel Christian Academy Eagles on Wednesday.

Southwood now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Evangel Christian Academy, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

Southwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 55-54 victory against North Caddo on the 12th. As for Evangel Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-47 win against Southwood on the 12th.
