LaGrange had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Opelousas Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Gators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

LaGrange's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Opelousas, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LaGrange will take on Carencro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Opelousas, they will venture away from home to square off against St. Edmund at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
