Basketball Recap: Iyanis Wallace Key Part of a Team Effort in Lions Win

Central played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They took down the Highland Home Flying Squadron 81-67. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Flying Squadron last Tuesday, they had to take a 75-54 defeat.

Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Iyanis Wallace, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Wallace a new career-high in points. Christian Lawrence was another key player, almost dropping a triple-double on 15 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Highland Home, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
