Basketball Game Preview: Leake County Gators vs. Enterprise Yellowjackets

The Leake County Gators and the Enterprise Yellowjackets will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Leake County is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Morton on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Gators lost 57-37 to the Panthers. The Gators have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Enterprise ended up a good deal behind St. Andrew's Episcopal on Saturday and lost 68-51. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Saints are ranked 61st).

Leake County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Enterprise, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
