The New Trier Trevians will take on the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Trier is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

New Trier fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Fremd on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 4-3. The Trevians' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

New Trier got a good showing from Justin Rausch, who pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Rausch has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.
