Basketball Recap: McQueen Comes Up Short

McQueen lost against Aqqaluk back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The McQueen Qavviks were dealt a 72-40 defeat at the hands of the Aqqaluk Bears.

McQueen now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Aqqaluk, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

McQueen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-41 loss against Davis-Romoth on the 14th. As for Aqqaluk, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-49 defeat against Unalakleet on the 14th.
