Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Maple Mountain

Maple Mountain waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Springville Red Devils as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Maple Mountain walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-12.

Karli Smith paced Maple Mountain's offense, picking up 12 kills. Smith got some help from Adison Thornton and her 28 assists. Thornton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Maple Mountain's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Springville, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-22.

As of now, neither Maple Mountain nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
