Basketball Recap: Perth Amboy Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Brunswick last Saturday, Perth Amboy came back down to earth. The Perth Amboy Panthers took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Immaculata Spartans on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Perth Amboy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Immaculata, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Perth Amboy and Carteret will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Carteret has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Immaculata, they will welcome Robbinsville at 6:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
