Basketball Recap: Dominic Guardini and Jaxton Frantz Secure Win for Muncy

Muncy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Milton Black Panthers by a score of 50-42.

Muncy was led to victory by Jaxton Frantz and Dominic Guardini. Frantz shot 45% from the field en route to 23 points and four steals, while Guardini went 7-for-13 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds. Guardini has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Dylan Mausteller also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Muncy's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Milton, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Muncy and Neumann Regional Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Milton will take on Jersey Shore in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
