Ashville and Etowah are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2022, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will welcome the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ashville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Etowah's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, Ashville didn't have quite enough to beat Leeds and fell 6-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ansley Brashier made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Annalynn Williamson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Etowah and Hokes Bluff, and Hokes Bluff kept the tradition alive. The Blue Devils fell 8-4 to the Eagles on Tuesday.

Etowah's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Ashville, their loss dropped their record down to 23-12-1.

Ashville took their win against Etowah in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 10-3 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
