Craig came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Wrangell Wolves 67-52. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 75-47 victory the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Craig pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Wrangell, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

Craig will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Metlakatla at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. As for Wrangell, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Klawock at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Wrangell is facing Klawock at the right time seeing as Klawock is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
