Volleyball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Connetquot's 20th in Last 21 Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Connetquot had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Bay Shore Marauders 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the T-Birds have posted against the Marauders since September 14, 2018.

Elena Carro was nothing short of spectacular: she had 23 digs and two aces. Those 23 digs gave her a new career-high.

Carro wasn't the only good servers: Connetquot was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive contests.

Connetquot is on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-2-1 record this season. As for Bay Shore, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 17-4-1 record.

As of now, neither Connetquot nor the Marauders have any future games scheduled.
