Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Bandys

Bandys had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Shelby Golden Lions 67-46 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on three straight.

Landon Vaughan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 24 points and 16 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in each of the last 14 games he's played. Evan Robinson was another key player, shooting 64% from the field en route to 17 points and six rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Shelby saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tyler Morgan posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Immanuel Collins, who scored six points.

Bandys' win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Shelby, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-8.

Bandys wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-57 victory against Lincoln Charter on the 7th. Shelby does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
