Soccer Recap: Santa Fe Takes a Loss

Santa Fe's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 3-1 to the Friendswood Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Friendswood, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Coming up, Santa Fe is taking a road trip to challenge Texas City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Santa Fe's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Friendswood, they will be playing at home against Angleton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Angleton will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Friendswood surely won't give up without a fight.
