Volleyball Recap: Vista PEAK Prep Bison vs. Legend Titans

Vista PEAK Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Legend Titans, falling 3-0. If the Bison were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Titans when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Vista PEAK Prep was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Legend work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-21, 25-18.

Tristan Rowley paced Vista PEAK Prep's offense, picking up 13 kills. Rowley got some help from Ein Bamba and his 18 assists. Finally, Rowley was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Vista PEAK Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Legend, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vista PEAK Prep will head out to take on Westminster at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Legend, they will venture away from home to challenge D'Evelyn at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. D'Evelyn will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Legend surely won't give up without a fight.
