Recap: Buckingham Charter Knights vs. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves
The Buckingham Charter Knights suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, falling 71-26. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Buckingham Charter has scored all season.
Western Sierra Collegiate Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Frantti, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was John Harb, who scored 14 points.
Buckingham Charter's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-8. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buckingham Charter on the road again on Saturday and play against Sacramento Adventist at 7:30 p.m. on January 20th. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they will square off against Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Valley Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
