Baseball Recap: Washington Triumphs

Washington was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the American Eagles by a score of 4-1. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

Washington let Joseph Guerra and Peyton Romero run wild. Guerra scored two runs while going 1-for-2, while Romero scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Guerra has posted since back in May of 2024. Tristan Wells also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
