Baseball Recap: Montgomery Catholic Victorious

After losing to Alabama Christian Academy the last time they met, Montgomery Catholic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Montgomery Catholic Knights came out on top against the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 8-3 on Tuesday.

Gregory Rauch and Jordan Jackson were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Rauch pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Jackson tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At bat, Rauch scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Jackson scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two runs gave Rauch a new career-high.

In other batting news, Ethan Levanda was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Another player making a difference was Kam Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
