Soccer Game Preview: Carmel vs. East Central

The Carmel Greyhounds will challenge the East Central Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Carmel comes in on five and East Central on three.

Carmel is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Avon as they made off with a 6-1 victory. Considering Carmel have won 11 matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, East Central sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Franklin Central on Thursday. That's two games straight that East Central have won by just one goal.

East Central's victory bumped their record up to 15-3-1. As for Carmel, their win bumped their record up to 17-2-1.
