Basketball Recap: Patrick School Takes a Loss

Patrick School blew Huntington Expression Prep out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Huntington Expression Prep got their revenge. The Patrick School Celtics fell just short of the Huntington Expression Prep Kings by a score of 79-77. The Celtics were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Kings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

Loss or not, Patrick School got some senior leadership from Kuai Deng and Brandon Lee. Deng posted 23 points, while Lee put up 26 points. The matchup was Lee's fourth in a row with at least 23 points. Another player making a difference was Santonio Wade, who earned ten points.

Patrick School's defeat dropped their record down to 27-6. As for Huntington Expression Prep, their record is now 9-10.

Patrick School has already played their next contest, an 88-75 loss against Blair Academy on the 23rd. As for Huntington Expression Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-50 defeat against Chapmanville Regional on the 25th.
