Baseball Recap: Jemez Valley Extends Winning Streak to Two

Jemez Valley played against Coronado on Thursday and won via forfeit.

The victory made it two in a row for Jemez Valley and bumps their season record up to 9-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 25.0 runs over those games. As for Coronado, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Jemez Valley will challenge Navajo Pine at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.53 runs per game on average), something the Warrior will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Coronado, they will head out to challenge Elida at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
