Reagan waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Davie County War Eagles 3-0. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the War Eagles, too.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-10.
Elly Randolph paced Reagan's offense, picking up 15 kills. Randolph got some help from Callie Largent and her 14 assists. Randolph was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Reagan's record now sits at 11-2. As for Davie County, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reagan will host Mount Tabor at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, Davie County and East Forsyth will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
